Badunkadunk

I can't express how much I love my extended family... Nonna, uncles, aunts etc. Especially Nonna and uncle Henry. I'm so lucky to have a big, loving, slightly crazy family (London doesn't hurt either). And hey! I found a profile of my uncle (well, married to my aunt) in The Spectator magazine. It's about how he takes pictures of naked older women to make them feel prettier... heh... In the past he has: been a sports psychologist (he coached a boxer to win a world championship, can't remember which one), an antique dealer, the editor of a local newspaper, a photographer, an extra in movies (you can see him selling love potions in Diagon Alley in Harry Potter I), and other things, I can't remember. The article even tells the story of how my aunt met him. A quote: "His mother died when he was nine, and his father, whom he describes as "a ne'er-do-well" and "a compulsive gambler", soon afterwards deserted him and went off to South Africa with another woman." "This is not a strip club," he says... oh my God, I had no idea about any of that. My parents are the rich Americans of the family... definitely a boring role.

At 11.15 I'm going to TYS rehearsal... possibly the last normal Saturday afternoon rehearsal of my life, and it's been eight years... eight years of rehearsals every week during the school year. Sad.
